About the Event

Shri. Pankaj Mishra hails from a musical family and was trained from an early age by the renowned Sarangi Player of Banaras Gharana late Pt. Mahesh Prasad Mishra. He will be accompanied by his student Chirag Dixit on the Sarangi and Shri. Tanmay Bichu  on the Tabla, in the first half. The second half of the program will showcase the Sarangi as an important accompaniment in the Thumri tradition, and will feature accomplished Hindustani Classical vocalist, composer and educator Smt. Srivani Jade on Vocals, in a narrated presentation. 

NOTE: Currently registered students are eligible for $10 admission ticket with (student ID) on the day of event only.
