About the Event
About the artist: Manjiri ji is an exponent of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana. She has studied with Shri Chintubuwa Mhaiskar and later, formatively, with Shri Madhusudan Kanetkar, in Sangli. She has also received guidance from the brilliant women performers of her Gharana - Vid. Kishori Amonkar and Vid. Padma Talwalkar. She has performed widely, and internationally, and has a beautiful collection of her Gharana's traditional Ragas and Bandishes.
