About the Event
Pt. Rakesh Chaurasia is a child prodigy on the Hindustani Flute (bansuri) and the nephew and student of renowned flute maestro Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia. He has given numerous concerts around the world and was invited to conclude the live music broadcast to a worldwide audience on the BBC radio celebrating Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth’s Silver Jubilee. His many awards include the Indian Music Academy Award by President Of India Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Aditya Birla Kalakiran Puraskar, the Guru Shishya Award and two Grammy awards. Read more about Pt.
