About the Event
Sahana Banerji is a distinguished Sitar performer hailing from the Rampur Senia Gharana. Born into a family with a rich musical heritage, she was initiated into vocal music by her mother Mrs. Chhabi Banerjee, daughter of Sangeetacharya Kashinath Chattopadhyay of Rampur Sahaswan Gharana. She trained in Sitar under the able guidance of her father Pandit Santhosh Banerjee, a disciple of Ustad Md. Dabir Khan of the Rampur Senia Gharana. Read more about Sahana Banerji HERE
