About the Event
Smt. Bharathi Prathap began her initial musical training in Carnatic music at the young age of seven. Encouraged by her uncle, she later went on to study Hindustani classical vocal music under a number of Masters including Maruti Rao Inamdar, Rama Rao V. Naik, and illustrious Agra Gharana exponent and her Guru for over 15 years, Smt. Lalith J. Rao. By virtue of her sustained taalim, she has accumulated a vast repertoire from the Agra-Atrauli gharana. She is the recipient of many accolades and awards for her artistry.
She will be accompanied by Yogesh Bhat on Tabla and Sarang Kulkarni on Harmonium. More details on accompanists soon!
