Varsha Jayasimha

Varsha was introduced to Hindustani classical music through her children’s training with Srivani Jade. The journey that began with a parent’s curiosity soon grew into a genuine appreciation for the art form through student baithaks and Ragamala performances. This inspired her to become an active volunteer, supporting concert-day logistics and events. She has observed the impact of Ragamala's programming on the community and is excited to serve on the board, bringing the perspectives of a parent, enthusiastic listener, and volunteer. She looks forward to helping Ragamala continue to grow and share the beauty of Hindustani classical music with a wider audience in the Pacific Northwest.
