Raman Iyer

Raman Iyer is a long time enthusiastic student of Indian classical music. He has learned vocal Carnatic music from Seattle area musician and teacher Meera Krishna, and is currently learning Hindustani vocal music from Suchitra Iyer in Sammamish. To Ragamala, he brings his eclectic taste in music, his understanding of the community (having lived in the Seattle area for almost three decades), and business/organizational skills from his career at Amazon and Microsoft, with the hope of broadening the base of educated listeners and practitioners in the area.
