About the Event
About the artist: Vid. Patankar is a disciple of Dr. Ashwini Bhide Deshpande, and is well established among the younger generation of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana musicians. She has performed widely, and internationally. This young maestra has a large repertoire of bandishes in many Ragas that she brings to bear in this lecture demonstration.
