About the Artist: Prasadji is a senior disciple of Ustad Rashid Khan of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana. Given his training under various eminent Gurus (Shri Bhalerao, D.V Panke, Sumantai Choudhari) prior to his stint at ITC-SRA as a scholar, he has a well rounded education in many different gharanas and gayakis, and brings a unique perspective to the Raga. He is a well respected performer and Guru of Khayal music today.
