Hemant Pendse, a rising star on the horizon of Indian Classical Music has by now established his own identity. Hemant received his training from Late Pt.Jitendra Abhisheki. He lived with him as a member of his family from 1978-1990. Hemant’s devotion to his Guru, coupled with his own creativity has well been reflected in the Bandishis composed by him.Hemant has given a performance in many prestigious music conferences including the famous Sawai Gandharva Music Festival(1994,2006) in Pune.He has also toured to UAE and USA for music concerts . He is also a associated with “ Lalit Kala Kendra (Centre for Performing Arts) Pune University as a (visiting Lecturer) “Manad Guru” He owns his fame and glory to his masters who have enriched him so much in this field. Still he is endeavoring to march ahead for reaching higher and higher levels of his performance.
 


Harshad Kanetkar, a young talented Tabla player from India, began his initial training in Tabla at the age of five. Harshad is one of the few Tabla players of his generation who has equally adept and versatile in the art of accompanying vocal,instrumental and dance.Crispness and clarity of his technique and a total command of rhythm are the classic hallmarks of his style. He has accompanied many leading artists like Pt.Jasraj,Pt.Birju Maharaj,Pt.Ulhas Kashalkar,Ustad Shahid Parvez,Veena Sahastrabuddhe,Shama Bhate (Kathak),Aarti Tikekar,Sanjeev Abhyankar,Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande etc.in prestigious music conferences all over India. He has also traveled and performed extensively in U.S., Canada, Europe and the Middle East. Harshad has received many accolades and honors including the National Scholarship from the Government of India.He also was visiting faculty at the Pandit Jasraj Music Academy in U.S.A.
 

Sharad Gadre has been involved in music for over 55 years. He got his training in the vocal classical musical tradition from two stalwarts of the Gwalior gharana, the late Pt. Yeshwant Sadashiv Mirashibuwa, and the late Pt. Nagesh Khalikar, both of Pune. Sharad, a vocalist, composer, teacher and an accomplished harmonium accompanist, has given several concerts and workshops on topics related to classical music. He has accompanied such top notch musicians as Pt. Jasraj, the late Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki, Ullhas Kashalkar, and Sanjeev Abhyankar and others in their concerts. He is currently teaching many students. Sharad holds a Ph.D. in Engineering, and has worked in the computer applications area throughout his working career and has developed RagaParichaya, a software program for learning classical music.
